German manufacturers developed a number of solutions for the transportation and storage of goods in finishing tunnels and delivery warehouses, as was seen during the past edition of IMB in Köln. Their latest novelty is known as PEP and features transportation and classification systems. The exclusive marketer in Spain is Pressing Plus, S.L., as usual a pioneer in offering logistics solutions for transportation of clothes in warehouses.
Pressing Plus presented the H800/V800 conveyor for stocking and transporting clothes, with its remarkable low-pressure accumulation. The LS900E tray classifier is an excellent solution for individual items.
800L/V800 conveyor, operating at low-pressure accumulation
The development of this conveyor is based on the concept of moving clothing items without pressing them one against another, even for long distances. The hangers have also been designed to avoid entangling and noise. The machine also operates with low-power requirements.
The conveying clips will let the hanger to only when it exceeds the point of resistance. The structure of the conveyor is strong and solid, though simple: with an aluminum base, with rails made of synthetic material and roller chains. The construction and design guarantee perfect performance with almost no noise. Transfer rails guarantee connection with other components in this system.
The 800L/V800 conveyor is ideal for transporting up to 14,000 clothing units per hour, allowing for layouts of up to 60° level differences, even in several different plants. In these cases, the machine will move 8,000 units per hour.
LS900 E classifier: fast and light
This fully automatic classifier allows for the distribution of items within small areas, adapting to storage needs and requirements. Its lightweight, compact design requires a very small space and the system may be adjusted to work vertically or horizontally, depending on available space. Loading and unloading special areas may also be set.
Conveyor trays are located externally, allowing for easy access to all movable parts. Roller wheels run along an anodized aluminum rail producing almost no noise, ideally distributing weight and requiring almost no maintenance.
The machine may be loaded by hand or automatically and in both cases multiple loading stations may be set along the system. For light or individual items, hand loading may be made in combination with adjusted speed for the conveyor system. For automatic loading, speed will depend on the type of goods loaded. However, the automatic mode is always available.
Unloading of goods may be done on the right or left hand side, depending on the direction items are transported. The dual tray system allows for all types of combinations, with one or both trays to unload on containers or ramps.
The LS900E classifier will distribute up to 20,000 items an hour, operating at a speed of up to 80 meters per minute.
