Damei Europe, located in Matarón (Barcelona), distributed Chinese-made North Phoenix embroidery machines in Europe and North Africa. The company exhibited a selection of their GY 09 (Flat and Cylinder-base), FWD, FWD-Q and FWD-S series, all of them with a servomotor for stable frame driving, and silent-tri-phase motors, offering hi-quality work, strength, regular transmission and enhanced accuracy.
Automatic models in the GY 09 series (Flat Base and Cylinder Base), are computer-regulated, offering stable performance, superior overall quality and user-friendly management of punching, craftsmanship embroidery, clothes-making, footwear embroidery, labels and ornaments. Salient technical features include accurate frame driving, lower thread detector, no limit to the restitching, moreover you can go back to a certain stitch, or colour change function stop, instantaneously or moving the design at high speed, automatic repeat, large system memory, power failure protection, area and design outline recognition, vertical and horizontal festoon enlargement, and fast-loading frames.
The ten versions in the GY 09 series (Flat Base) are built with 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 16, 18, and 20 stitching heads (2, 3, and 10, respectively in three GY 09X versions). Embroidery areas range from 275 . 550 to 500 x 1000 mm. GY09H (Cylinder Base) is a nine-needle, six-head machine for embroidering surfaces of 450 x 500 mm in ready-made clothing items and caps.

The three models in the FWD Series (1201, 1204 and 1206) are compact, automatic 12-needle machines with one, four or six heads, all computer regulated and very flexible, for embroidering areas of 400 x 450 mm, at 1000 rpm in ready-made clothing items and caps.
The four automatic, computerized-regulation version in the FWD-Q Series (ñ616-315, 324 and 327) will embroider continuously on eiderdowns, upholstery fabric, curtains and home embroidery, with 3 or 6 needles and 15, 16, 24 or 27 heads. The have a pneumatic frame and automatic fixing fabric placing, and may work at 750 rpm in fields of 135 x 500 up to 200 x 1000 mm.
The four automatic models in the FWD-S Series (904, 906, 912 and 915) are computer-regulated and will embroider exchangeable 5-7 mm sequins, with the possibility of mounting two sequin-feeding devices to obtain combined embroidery with two different-sized sequins. Also commended for hi-fantasy embroidery work, with 6, 9 or 12 needles and 4, 6, 12 or 15 heads. They may work at 850 rpm in a 400 x 680 mm-area.
