Kaledo Collection by Lectra revolutionizes design

The Kaledo Collection application by Lectra, for the design and creation of garments, revolutionizes the process of designing and creating collections. In a context of the constant renovation of collections, Kaledo allows companies to accelerate the process of launching new collections or product lines according to the latest trends and with consumer expectations and reactions at the point of sale.
In a competitive scene for fashion industries, the solution of Kaledo Collection by Lectra responds to the needs of fashion design departments and enables designers to create models and test the color and fabric combinations rapidly. Communication throughout the planning network is simpler and faster, and the realistic simulations allow all those involved in the decision making process to evaluate the creative concepts more readily, facilitating decision making. Meanwhile, technical information about the fabrics is integrated correctly from the outset, providing reliable data transfer to the textile manufacturers.
As additional advantages, the Kaledo Collection application, by covering all the stages of the creation of clothing designs, allows:
- Developing different collections very fast, relating the models with the associated fabrics.
- Structuring collections and sharing information in real time with development teams.
- Improving the decision making process, allowing designers to illustrate their technical specifications for each of their models and devote themselves fully to creation.
- Reacting quickly to the smallest changes.
- Saving time and reducing the risk of mistakes.
- Guaranteeing clear communication with the teams responsible for developing the product specifications.

Meanwhile, communication between the Kaledo application and the Lectra Fashion PLM system, makes it possible to work directly with the designers, since having access to all the information relating to a product or line of products avoids reentering with the consequent loss of time and possibility of mistakes. The program also includes the applications Kaledo Print, Kaledo Knit and Kaledo Weave, for printing the designs and collections, and for the creation of fabric designs by stitch or plain.

More creative freedom thanks to Kaledo
