IMB Forum in Köln: international, innovative and multi-disciplinary
|
The past edition of IMB Forum lasted two days, fully dedicated to Information and Technology applied to Textile Processing and Machinery industry actors. The suppliers showed innovative products, and highly qualified representatives of the sector expressed great interest.
Many of those visiting the Forum in Köln were users, but there were as well many decision makers and professionals who represented their respective companies. The IMB Forum is planned by Koelnmesse, in collaboration with the German Technology Association for the textile and apparel sectors (VDMA). At the same time, participants were also invited to take part in a full range of interesting international activities.
A total eighty four exhibitors from 12 countries (the number continues to grow ever since 2004), showcased their latest novelties in Köln. Suppliers from Europe, the United States and China were represented at IMB, and the event revealed it has grown to become a major meeting point, now with a larger area (by 16%) than when it was created in 2004.
“It is due to the success attained this year that IMB Forum has strengthened its position as a global event in this sector”, said Wolfgang Kranz, Executive Vice President of Koelnmesse GMBH. Without a doubt, success will also be the result of the next edition to be held from April 21st to 24th, 2009. “IMB is a strong, healthy tradeshow offering excellence and all the information people need, even beyond the expectations of actors in our market sector, due to the high quality of the debates and presentations at the forum, all of them concentrated in one place...This motivates us to continue to work along the same lines”, planners commented.
