Baltic Textile & Leather at Vilnius, to ‘be there’ in the area

The chief aim of Baltic Textile & Leather is to offer its participants a unique opportunity to work and communicate with their potential partners, specialists and colleagues, as well as experiencing a comfortable atmosphere of mutual benefit in the field of business and cooperation in the fashion and textiles area. At the last edition, 172 companies from 21 countries were present, noteworthy among them being: Lithuania, India, Portugal, Poland, Italy, Turkey, China, Belarus and Moldavia.
In 2008, the show had six new sectors, which are maintained this coming year:
• Baltic Textiles & Interior: fabrics, knitted and non-woven fabrics, home textiles, interior decorations, fibers, threads, textile accessories, textile colorings and subsidiary materials (51 exhibiting companies).
• Baltic Fashion & Style: clothing for women, men and children, knitwear, underwear, swimwear, bed-wear, leather and fur garments, and accessories (57 companies).
• Baltic Workwear & Safety: workwear, uniforms, professional special footwear, technical textiles, safety equipment (15 companies).
• Baltic Leather & Shoes: leather, leather garments, haberdashery articles and footwear (18 companies).
• Baltic Innovations & Technologies: research and education, innovation, technology, equipment and services (16 companies).
• Baltic Contracting & Consulting: subcontracting, supplies, human resources, training and consultancy services (15 companies).
The forthcoming edition will be held from 23 to 25 September 2009.
