Body Look Düsseldorf becomes annual

Igedo Company, the organizers of the event, have informed that the forthcoming edition, originally set for February, is not going to be held, all being invited to Body Look in summer.
Thus, the International trade fair of Body, Beach and Legwear is being turned into an annual event, a decision which the directors took in view of the opinions of all those involved, always keeping into view what is best for the sector.
For the summer, Igedo Company is planning an exhibition aimed at lifestyle as a concept, but extended to more ranges and segments. The new event will take place from 26 to 28 July, and will serve as a starting off point for the new European season in the lingerie and swimwear industry.
Kirsten Deutelmoser, Director of Body Look, commented to us that “despite the emotional cost of making this decision, we are clear that the number of exhibitors registering was not sufficient to guarantee a representative and successful fair. We can now prepare and attack ‘from a distance’ the summer edition, adapting it completely to the new demands of the market, since the sector aspires to having a meeting point to open the season as well as to broaden and maintain its networks of contacts and nearly all agree that this ‘meeting point’ has to be our trade fair. Its new concept takes into account the wishes and needs of the industry and business, and we are working with both so as to give Body Look the maximum potential."
From 27 to 29 July last year a new edition of this fair took place, the 15th, which is set in the context of the Fashion Shows that Igedo runs in Dusseldorf. Around 135 exhibiting firms, representing 350 brands, from Body, Beach and Legwear, attended in summer the so-called Body Look.
