February starts with the New York Trend Selection

On 3 and 4 February 2009, in the Altman Building on New York’s 18th Street, Tend Selection will be held, expecting to follow the success which marked the last edition, which was the setting for 43 companies to present their collections for the 2009/2010 winter season, including the proposals of tanning, textiles and synthetics companies. Among them, there was a good Spanish presence, according to the information from AEC.
At the September edition, over 600 visitors attended, with a 20% growth in comparison with the previous February edition. The activity which went on at the exhibition was very good, particularly on the first day, with numerous stands full of an enthusiastic public.
The innovations presented for the Winter season were very well received by the visitors. Notable among them, for textiles and synthetics: elaborated crystal glass, wools, various types of felts, jacquards, tapestry, fringes, etc. Likewise, optical effects, color play and fusion and the idea of movement of a dynamic skin within the limits of 3 dimensions excited everyone.
