Premiere Vision Pluriel and ModAmont continue increasing the potential of accessories

Ready to be held, from 10 to 13 February, the directors of ModAmont expect to repeat the good impressions left by the 26th edition, which was held from 23 to 26 September last year. This trade fair, included in the overall offer of the multi-event Premiere Vision Pluriel, maintained its good course in spite of the current world economic situation.
ModAmont recorded the attendance of 22,017 visitors. With an internationalization close on 60%, the figures for the public at the last edition had a 2% increase in relation to the previous, which is an optimistic indicator, speaking of the good reaction the sector is having in the face of the crisis. ModAmont’s efforts to attract an ever more international public will not cease, as its organizers are going to embark on a new reinforcement strategy regarding communications, promoting the show worldwide.
At the last edition, the ‘top-five’ countries regarding attendance were: France, with 7,103 visitors; Italy: 1,560; Germany: 1,181; UK: 1,059 and Spain: 838.
The basic products have lost thrust with regard to the more creative ones, demonstrating that accessories are now something essential when it comes to differentiating the product: ‘detail is what makes the difference’.
The offer of 302 exhibitors was displayed, covering textile or metallic accessories, feathers, leathers, and even labels and transfers that provide a decisive added value to the season’s collections.
Mond’Amont is an event which, in spite of having made a place for itself as a fashion event, has an activity of exhibitors which goes beyond this field, reaching other sectors like jewelry, shows, haberdashery, interior decoration, workwear, sports equipment, transport industries or medical clothing.
Likewise, the arrival once more of the new event ’Zoom by Fatex’, the fashion manufacturing fair, in hall 1, and in the bosom of the Premiere Vision Pluriel, contributes to generating an even greater traffic flow between the trade fairs ModAmont, Expofil, Indigo and Le Cuir a Paris.
Expofil is a specialized show, which is concentrated exclusively on threads and textile fibers, with an offer for all markets: square mesh, fabrics, circular mesh, hosiery, hand-knitting wool, soft furnishings, etc.
Indigo, for its part, is an international display with a calling to leadership, specializing in and based on the work of textile creation: designs, embroidered and appliqué motifs, meshes, fabrics, transfers, etc.
Finally, Le Cuir a Paris is another essential event that gathers a multitude of top level exhibitors, specialists in the leather and fur sector. New trends are presented here and it functions as a tool for the pre-selection of materials (leather, textiles, etc.), aimed at the industrialists and stylists (footwear, leather goods, fashion accessories, etc.).
The second 2009 edition of Premiere Vision Pluriel will be held from Tuesday 15 to Friday 18 September.
