Moinsa. Respect for our environment

Móstoles Industrial, S.A. (Moinsa) has set up an Environment Management System (EMS), consistent with ISO 14001 standards. The process concluded with the corresponding certificate by AENOR, after 8 months of work. All businesses, regardless of their size, activity or location, must comply with an increasing number of environmental standards established by the Administration, clients and society in general. So global management of a company involved the indispensable application and use of procedures that consider the environment.
Environment Management Systems consistent with ISO 14001 provide companies with a major tool that tends to set up systems for the management of processes that affect the environment, whatever their activity, and they also promote protection of our planet and the prevention of pollution, as they also contemplate the balance of social and economic aspects.
The integration of these various issues in a company’s management system means a starting point towards other environmental concerns (Ecodesign, EMAS, Kyoto protocol...).
As a consequence, this commitment on the part of Moinsa means all products and brands offer improved:
- Reduction of the impact on our environment, derived from activities.
- Optimization of resources and waste management, in terms of both quality and volume, with a less hazardous incidence on products and resources.
- Proper management of related hazards and situations that may cause accidents.
