In addition to clothes-making, the focus of attention at Pure, there was also a significant area reserved to accessories, with thirty five new collections features. Lingerie and bathing suits were also an innovation this year.

Felga Stinson, buyer for Puddleduck Sandown, also praised the trade show: “Pure is extremely well organized. I must simply mention the quality of collections shown and the magnificent display of international brand names”. Hazel Boyle, one of the directors for Ben Sherman, stated, “We have contacted some twenty five new clients, and this is in part due to the promotion work carried out by this show. Another factor contributing to our success is our having our own catwalk. Our investment in this edition has proven to be worthwhile”.
