Textilmoda: quality and design in national fabrics

| Textilmoda, the leading trade show within the fabric-manufacturing industry sector in Spain, and the largest business platform for the sector, held its sixth edition between march 9th and 11th, 2004. The event held at Parque Ferial Juan Carlos I included 141 Spanish exhibitors and 130 foreign companies among which those with the largest volumes were Portuguese, Italian and French. The international trade show was an opportunity to show professionals in the clothes-making industry a wide range of products with a variety of materials and textures, accompanied by the quality and design of collections by national manufacturers.
The trade show offered a view of the fashion trends for the 2005 spring-summer collections, featuring novelties and trends for fabrics and fancy clasps. The 271 companies, of which 27 were taking part for the first time, exhibited their products over the 5,609 square meters of Pavilion 8 in this Exhibitions Center. The novelty in this edition was ‘Espacio Último Minuto’ (Last-Minute Space), featuring the latest proposals created by participating companies over the days previous to the Show.
The conclusion of Textilmoda predicts a 2005 spring-summer season filled with colour, light and fantasy. Ethnic influences, lively colors, flexible fabrics, soft to the touch and lightweight, Pop reminiscences and printed lines and flowers.
