Enka launches new trends for the 2005 summer season

The new trends by Enka for the coming 2005 summer season are inspired in the lines of the 1960s, the sober luxury of the 1980s, Mediterranean life and a renovated discovery of feminine sensuousness. Tradition and daring are characteristic features in the trends for the 2005 summer season. Four groups comprise the collection:

Instinctive Ironic
This line presents a world filled with colour and nostalgia, with childhood memories. Clothes are simple, functional, sportive, reminiscent of the 1960s and tracing stylized, feminine contours. Enka Viscose features satin and stretch, in a comfortable combination. Enka Jerseys stands out because of the brightness, contrasting with minimal structures in opaque hues. Checkered, with stripes, spots or flowers, these basic designs of the ‘60s come in pastel colours: grass-green, lilac, magenta and sun-yellow, in an impulsive, youthful proposal.

Absolute Textural
Mediterranean life, nature and harmony are the source of inspiration for this trend. The use of yarns in various thicknesses gives way to sophisticated shapes and the fascinating colours of these structures bring out the crafts-style in this theme. 100% Enka Viscose fabrics and mixtures with synthetics are the basic element. Earthen, brown, rust and copper hues are complemented with stone gray and deep-sea blue. A minimalist proposal which is also expressive and refined.

Sharp Performance
The spirit of the 1908s inspires this trend, elegant and fresh, with metal, plastic and crystal as protagonists. Sensuous lines, sculptural silhouettes and graphic designs are the main motifs. Compact items in crêpes by Enka Viscose are dynamic and youthful. Elastic jerseys in viscose bring out body shapes. Basic colours: gold, bronze, grey and metal black, combined with red, dark purple and camel.

Tactile Vision
Femininity and romanticism define this concept. Tactile Vision is like a second skin, fragile, light-weight, transparent, with special mixtures of viscose and synthetic, resulting in luminous effects. Interlock, jersey fabrics with exclusive ‘chinè’ effects and the inclusion of lace are suggestive and appealing. Satin with ‘devoré’ effects result in elegant transparencies. Pastel colours, mint green, pink, salmon and straw-yellow, are combined with silver, white and navy blue. Tactile Vision facilitates a smooth transition towards body wear.
