Lectra launch the new version of PrimaVision, the professional software for textile designers

PrimaVision is Lectra’s latest proposal in response to the company’s clients’ needs. This software is currently being used by over four hundred and thirty companies around the world.
The new version meets the specific requirements presented by printed textiles, knitted fabric and woven fabrics, by means of the new modules: PrimaVision Print, PrimaVision Knit and PrimaVision Weave. Each one of these modules is available with a Colour Management option guaranteeing cohesion between the hues of the design and the end product.
PrimaVision offers textile designers new possibilities in the creation as it reduces the chance errors by means of an on-screen simulator and colour management system. In addition, it allows for manufacturing procedures that will be respectful of aspects such as printing, fabric type, etc. “This software meets the needs of designers in search of innovation and adaptation to the latest trends, and it guarantees fully feasible projects”, states Jean-Christophe Pochet, head of the IT area dedicated to the design of Lectra.
Textile simulations made with PrimaVision may be used immediately in Kaledo Style, the clothes-making and collection designing software presented by Lectra last February.
