Techtextil and Avantex announce the future for fabrics
|
Frankfurt will be hosting the Techtextil and Avantex trade shows from June 7th to 9th, 2005. These two events will also feature two symposiums with sixty lectures each, presenting contents focusing on quality rather than quantity.
Techtextil is the International Monographic Trade show for Technical Fabrics and non-fabric Materials. The motto will be “Focusing on Innovation”, which of course refers to the various possibilities for the application of products defined in the event. As to Avantex, the International Forum for Textile Innovations for the clothes making sector, the motto will be “Discover the future of Clothing”, where the most recent creations and trends within the Smart Clothing sector will be studied, focusing on the additional properties offered by clothing manufactured with the latest textile innovations.
Techtextil, known as a dynamic trade show, will be held following its traditional structure, with the Buildtech and Mobiltech application fields, and the addition of Medtech, a segment revealing significant evolution. There are, of course, nine other application sectors: Geotech, Protech, Agrotech, Clothtech, Homethech, Indutech, Oekotech, Packtech and Sporttech, each one referring to the corresponding applications. The Techtextil Symposium will be once again a meeting point for professionals, and there will be an Award to Innovation.
Avantex will, as usual, adapt to the latest evolutionary trends. Groups of products presented will include the range of procedures and processes: research, development, consultancy, textile technology, fibers and threads, textile surfaces and membranes, textile improvement, hi-tech clothing and innovating clothing items. At the same time, the sector for applications will feature all possible uses, according to the various fields: Fashion/Lifestyle, Healthcare, Sports/Outdoor and Workwear/Protection. Which means Avantex will comprise all aspects of innovative clothes making as an activity. According to Michael Jänecke, the director of events at Techtextile and Avantex: “Thanks to the coordination of dates and the simultaneous, transparent division of both trade shows, we attain a powerful synergy that benefits both exhibitors and visitors”.
