The dates for ITME 2006 (International Textile Machinery Exhibition) are already set for June 27th to July 2nd, 2006. Teknik Ltd, the planners, have extended reservation periods for exhibitors.
ITME 2006 will undoubtedly be the meeting point for all textile leaders, and it is supported ty TUBITAK (The Turkish Technical and Scientific Research Institute) and BTMA (British Textile Machinery Association).
This trade show is held every two years as the meeting point in a strategic area for textile and clothes-making professionals from Eastern Europe - including Bulgaria, Poland and Romania - and Iran, Syria and Egypt. During the past edition, ITME 2004, held in Istanbul from June 1st to 6th, over 450 machinery manufacturers and distributors came from Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, France, England, Belgium, Japan, China and the US. The exhibition showcased machinery and accessories for the textile industry sector, including opening and preparation machines, weavers, flat and knitting warpers, dyers and finishing machines. It was visited by over 50,000 persons. In addition to Turkish visitors oncoming from areas heavily investing in this sector - Istanbul, Bursa, Corlu, Gaziantep Kahramanmaras - there were also many visitors from Syria, Germany, Egypt, Pakistan, Russia and China.
ITME 2006 will be held at the CNR EXPO in Istanbul, over an area of 150,000 square meters, thrice what it was in the past edition (52,000 sq. mt).
The whole range of textile machines, exhibited at ITME 2006
The structure and distribution of pavilions at ITMe 2006 will allow visitors to tour the whole textile production process: fiber preparation, weaving, washing and bleaching, dyeing, printing, starching and finishing. Laboratory equipment and quality control systems will also be shown. Warping machines for knitted fabrics will be especially featured.
A tour of the ten pavilions will feature:
1.Hall 1, Hall 9 and Hall 19, showing:
- Dyeing, printing and finishing machines.
- Laboratory equipment and quality control systems.
- CAD, CAM AND CIM applications and automated systems.
2. Halls 2 and 4 will show:
- Machines and accessories for preparing cotton fibers.
- Machines and accessories for warping.
- Machines for finishing warping and weaving.
3. Hall 3 will show:
- Laboratory equipment and quality control systems.
- Textile chemicals (dyes, colorants, pigments, chemical products, auxiliary pigments for printing).
- Accessories and spare parts for dyeing, printing machines and equipment.
- CAD, CAM AND CIM applications and automated systems.
4. Hall 5 will feature
- Flat and circular knitting machines, spared parts and accessories.
- Spare parts and accessories for weaving machines.
5. Halls 6 and 7 will show:
- Machines and accessories for preparation.
- Spare parts and accessories for warping machines.
6. Hall 8 will show accessories and spare parts for flat and circular knitting machines.
