Dates for the summer edition of CPD Düsseldorf confirmed

Following intense meetings with representatives of the fashion industry sector and after announcing the first edition of CPD for February 5th, 6th and 7th next year, Igedo Company confirms the dates for the second edition that year, to be held between July, Sunday 23rd and Tuesday 25th, 2006.
This confirmation means Igedo Company is underlining the role of CPD Düsseldorf as an international event in the world of fashion, the meeting point in-between the various collection presentations guaranteeing international buyers the chance to better access information in their field, an essential element for most of the companies surveyed.
CPD Düsseldorf planning then meets the need emerging from the changed in order behaviour, with a reduced share during pre-season periods to favour programs of immediate deliveries. A survey in late July revealed that for the first time, pre-season orders have decreased below 60%. The temporal asymmetry between dates set for February and July is due to traditional European holiday seasons – Christmas and New Year’s Eve – in late December and early January.
