Gerber signs co-operation agreement with University of Engineering Science in Shanghai

Gerber Technology announced the company signed an agreement with Shanghai University of Engineering Science (SUES) including the donation of computer-assisted design software. The event was held on February 20th, 2006, at the multimedia center of the university, as a prelude to the collaboration agreement signed with the College of Fashion of the SUES, signed during the meeting.
Gerber has donated forty licenses of design, scaling and Accumark PE marking software in addition to forty additional licenses for Accumark MTM made to measure clothes-making software. The total amount of donations adds up to 80,000 US dollars (650,000 RMB) and includes updating free of charge. Gerber will also provide training courses for university professors.
This agreement with the Shanghai University of Engineering Science positions Gerber Technology as a new partner in technology education in China.
