Teknik Fuarcilik, planners of ITM 2006 (Textile Machinery Exhibition) to be held in the CNR International Fair and Congress center in Istanbul from June 27th to XXth, has planned a world meeting for executive representatives of companies taking part t ITM 2006, and international technical media representatives.
The event was held on February 6th and 7th at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Istanbul. The meeting aimed to gather all manufacturers developing technology to exchange information on the latest models and projects. Planners state over fifty journalists from specialized media attended.
This event was exclusively scheduled for participating companies in ITM 2006, for which planners say the whole exhibiting area was taken, improving figures resulting from the 2004 edition.
ITME 2004 included 770 exhibiting companies of which 650 were foreign. As to visitors to the past edition and according to information supplied by planners, there were some sixty thousand coming from Switzerland, Germany, Iran, Italy, Pakistan, Syria, France, Russia, Japan, India, Spain, Taiwan, Korea, Egypt the US, China, Bulgaria, Lebanon, Georgia, Kuwait, Belgium, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Poland, Jordan, Argelia, Hungary and Yugoslavia.
